2. Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal(including establishment matters)
3. Indian Plywood Industries Research & Training Institute (IPIRTI), Bangalore ( including establishment matters)
2. sub-ordinate offices i.e.,
1. Forest Survey of India (FSI), Dehradun (except establishment matters).
2. Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy (IGNFA), Dehradun (except establishment matters)
3. Directorate of Forest Education (DFE), Dehradun (except establishment matters)
2. In-service Training of Indian Forest Service Officers

 
3. Other specific Assignments
1. Scrutiny of forestry research projects
4. Other miscellaneous matters concerning Forestry Research & Training
1. Administrative set-up - The work of Research and Training (RT) Division is being handled by AIGF (RT) and DIGF (RT). The DIGF (RT) reports to Inspector General of Forests (EAP) who further reports to the Director General of Forests and Special Secretary.
